How does the PCx measure the number of non-agglutinated particles ?When the agglutination reaction ends, a sample is pushed through a flow cell where the optical measurement allows the separation of free particles light scattering is set up with an upper and a lower threshold to catch only the well calibrated free particles. This counting system is the heart of a homogeneous and sensitive immunoassay technology.
